Highlights:
• Provided dependable, reliable video and audio conferencing support saving the company several million dollars a year in unnecessary travel expenses and downtime. • Introduced remote control and monitoring of room technology utilizing e-Control technology saving over $500K per year in unnecessary labor costs. • Analyzed extent of water damage to expensive equipment and, after appraisal of vendor bids resolved the problem saving company over $250K in replacement costs. • Scrutinized and audited vendor bids and saved the company thousands of dollars in unnecessary charges and inflated projections. • Developed customized software internally and used it to schedule multiple conference rooms. By doing this internally, we did not have to invest in outside solutions saving the company several thousands of dollars. • Prevented inadvertent user errors by revising and reprogramming of control system interfaces. Result: error-free user operation of control systems which enhanced user-friendliness and user’s comfort level with technology. • Conceived, developed and designed PowerPoint programs and conducted conference technology training workshops. The attendees became proficient with the systems and their comfort level increased substantially. • Developed a proactive review and maintenance program utilizing Room Function Status Logs (which I designed). As a result, potential problems were intercepted and meeting technology success exceeded 95%. • Rapidly diagnosed problems and determined root causes. The speed with which I did this dramatically minimized impact to meetings and, in many cases, prevented it altogether. • Trained, delegated, motivated, mentored and developed a technology support staff.
