Highlights:

While a Therapist at Youth Services Centers, Inc (Crosswinds) in Merritt Island, I was successful in reuniting parents and their children using the therapeutic model and aftercare counseling sessions on an outpatient basis. Assisted the transition to mainstream youth into High School who were deemed to never be able to function After therapy and successful termination, the recidivism rate was zero. DCF sent ungovernable clients to me solely on reputation and feed back from the families I served. Later, DCF offered me a position working with abused children at a higher rate of income. Among the recommendations I made for those I provided therapy to be mainstreamed the recidivism rate was zero. Contributing author of Youth Development Bureau Grant, resulting in $75,000 for comprehensive service to runaway adolescents. Contributing author of the Youth Development Bureau Demonstration Project Grant, resulting in $64,000 to develop a 60-90 day intermediate term shelter program to prevent youth from becoming institutionalized
