Highlights:
Currently with Fluor assigned as Project Controls Manager leading a team of 6 people on over $1B worth of construction on an oil refinery upgrade. The extreme challenge on this assignment is essentially tracking 50 separate small projects because of the clients capital tracking requirements. At Motorola led rollout and detailed implementation of new Enterprise Project Management processes and Primavera tool for Scheduling, Time Tracking and Resource Management. Trained over 300 managers across Motorola business units in Resource Management using PDW in the U.S, U.K. and China. Hired and trained small Project Controls group in Beijing China. Consistently rated and ranked internally as top performer within Motorola. Also at Motorola assigned by the PMO to perform Project Management "Jumpstart" training in both the U.S. and China. Became Fluor's Chicago office Scheduling Lead and was sent to Train the Trainer training to be certified by Primavera as an accredited trainer. Have fairly equal hands on and management experience in scheduling, cost control and performance measurement with significant experience in Engineering, Construction and Software Development. Ranked consistently in the top 20% at Motorola.Companies I like:
KPMG, Allstate, Abott Labs, and US Gypsum are examples of companies who utilize Project Controls and Project Management skills. They also have been identified as great companies to work for in the Chicago area. Good benifits, low turnover, flexible hours and a genuine concern for their employees make these target companies for me.
