I want to obtain more experience in all phases of Highway Design, including construction, signing and marking, utility, erosion, staging, and right-of-way plans; roadway, and drainage cross-sections and profiles; driveway profiles; and drainage design. I want to take many on-site visits, getting more experience observing existing sites and features and correlating it to highway design. I would ultimately want to become a Task-Package Manager, being solely in control of design projects, assigning tasks to others, overseeing the progress of projects, and ensuring that the project is successfully complete

They have a great reputation across the country in designing and constructing some of the best projects., I would also like to work for the Georgia Department of Transportation. Since most transportation projects come from the state and is designed and constructed according to state regulations, it would be advantageous to learn how GDOT evaluate projects in making sure that they follow GDOT guidelines. Working there will also provide me insights on the latest updates and changes in performing highway design in the state of Georgia.
