Developed and utilize the 10hr work schedule that we presently use in our department.Developed a Hemodynamic recontion/Data Reduction course for staff, new hire and 1st year Cardiology fellows upon my arrival to DHLC in 1987; along with the Head Nurse at the time who developed the nurse training program, allows us to have nurses and technologist with no or minimal cathereization expierence to be taught and trained properly to work in a Cardiac Cathereization Lab, along with training of scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional procedures, and the training of preceptors assisting with the training. Provide interdepartamental IABP course for all staffing. Input/responsible for the billing and coding of all procedures/supplies and medications on a daily basis.

Direct and manage a Cardiac Catheterization Lab that provides both Diagnostic and all fields of Interventional Cardiology. Providing the department with the proper flow of the procedures performed with the least amount of downtime between procedures and minimal overtime; all in providing the best patient care and satisfaction as a number one priority. Annual evaluation of the staff performance. Staffing hiring and termination, if needed. Provide any assistance for a staff memeber if need any help with behavioral problems that might lead to termination or suspension.
Provide proper in service of all new products, procedures and/or equipment for all physicians and Cath Lab staff before introducing it into the Cath Lab for a patient procedure.
