As a senior Information Systems Manager I managed a worldwide data and voice network linking regional data centers and provided network service levels in excess of 99.5%. Providing technology for an international organization authoring and executing a rolling three year plan which focused on redistribution of technology costs towards development over infrastructure and closely tied to departmental budgets and service level agreements providing a 28% reduction in infrastructure costs over three years while maintaining a consistent budget.
Managing a globally distributed staff of developers, network technicians and external resources engaged in multiple projects I operated similarly to a consulting firm keeping intimately involved in projects while containing costs, maintaining schedules and adhering to a standardized infrastructure.
