RssAn energetic, accomplished, and versatile professional with over 10 years experience in healthcare, corporate and academic settings; expertise in project management, employee and management training, group facilitation, process improvement and management.

Having provided organizations and executives with project leadership, training, and support that are necessary to achieve high levels of performance quality, I have over 10 years of experience exceeding objectives within health care and financial institutions. I offer my services to generate similar results for your organization and introduce you to my professional background and expertise. I am eager to utilize my knowledge to positively impact your operations. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Psychology; I have utilized my skills in a Human Resources capacity, however, I have changed my focus to accounting, based on my 4 years of volunteer work as an Accountant for my local church. I am also part-time student at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College majoring in Accounting with a long-term goal of becoming a CPA. I am still open to working in a Human Resources capacity but my ideal position would be in the accounting field, as it would afford me the opportunity to work in a financial capacity, increase my knowledge-base, and put the skills that I’ve learned through volunteering and in the classroom to action in a “real” business setting. I have a high level of knowledge in Microsoft Office and am proficient with many other software packages, as well as have experience compiling financial information and reports on a monthly basis to the Pastor and Board of Trustees, fiscal year closing of boards and auxiliaries, preparing other financial statements, as needed, as well as payroll, accounts payable, and contributions from my volunteering at my church. Confident in my ability to contribute your organization’s success, I have enclosed my resume for your consideration. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you in a more personal setting to discuss specific ways in which I can utilize my skills to enhance your client’s every day operations.

About Me

Major Responsibilities

My two most recent areas of responsibility have been at Hewitt Associates as a Human Resources Recruiting Team Leader and as a Senior Creative Support Specialist at Wachovia. Working for Hewitt gave me my first opportunity to supervise/manage a group of employees. It's was a very interesting opportunity because the success of the new implementation wouldn't have been as seamless as it was without the pre-implementation training and coaching of the employees that I did. I was also afforded the opportunity to meet with senior leader of our client to ensure that I knew the mission and vision so I could model my training, reporting, and coaching based on their expectations. Working at Wachovia in Corporate and Investment Banking allowed me to diversify my skill-set. Every day there were different experiences and areas needed and it allowed me to increase my process improvement skills to make the best of the short turnover time that we had when given projects to complete. It also allowed me the opportunity to see where our department needed to be improvements so during down times, I was able to relay those ideas for possible implementation throughout the department.
