- Directly manage 7 systems analysts and 2 business analysts providing full lifecycle project implementation and software changes to all areas of the bank. Analysts provide project discovery, business requirements documents, technical documents and report design. They also perform ROI analysis, all user testing scenarios and workbooks, proctor testing, and confirmation that projects push live. They provide all materials to the training department for classroom facilitation or memos as appropriate. Systems include Miser (mainframe), Fiserv/UniFi loan operating systems, Nautilus imaging software, proprietary client-server programs like the Help Desk software, intranet and internet applications.
11/2004 - 5/2006
- Designed and implemented a best execution rate model in MS Access/MS Excel with an SQL back end that combined investor rate sheets into one database running through analysis code that resulted in the best price offer. The model also generated rate sheets and exported the current rates our loan operating system.
Created an interface from our loan operating system to our external warehouse line provider enabling us to automatically send daily loan setup files.
Successfully created the business process around HMDA reporting requirements and created the interface between our loan operating system and the HMDA required software. Experience 2 two OCC audits including both technical and operational.
Implementation manager and lead developer for an interface with 2 outside document preparation companies. I successfully mapped the application and closing MISMO DTD’s with our loan operating system, created the SQL views and functions used in creating the MISMO xml. Managed the xml programmer, external programmer, and provided all of the business processes and changes to the loan operating system to support the interfaces.
Designed a product rules and pricing engine to be used internally to lock/price loans and the technology as part of our lock online initiative. The engine’s front end allows for registering, locking, updating critical loan parameters, and will run scenarios to find the products based on loan parameters.
Provided the business logic, VB script, front end screen shots, and acted as the business lead on our lock online initiative.

The analysis and development of all outside databases and/or spreadsheets for data collection outside of Wells Fargo mainframe systems. This includes links when necessary to any outside software.
Installation, creation and maintenance of all Wells Fargo corporate systems macros.
Project manager for any projects for the Lombard site. Local project manager for the XP migration, TAB/FileTracker and other large site-wide projects.
Tracking all computer assets (and some limited support pre-help desk or service ticket.)
Perform and maintain all server backups and tape restores and am accessible as the Lombard contact for any computer or server related maintenance.
Provide assistance as needed for process flow analysis, database design, and sharing of Lombard databases or process flows with other Wells Fargo sites, branches or projects.
Learning and Development Consultant
Partnered with the Lombard Wholesale Site Operations Manager to identify learning opportunities for the 200+ mortgage staff members. Worked closely with managers and supervisors to develop on-the-job training (OJT), manuals and best work practices. Provided instruction, instructional development, consultant, and project manager services to the Lombard Wholesale Site, Wholesale Branches, and the newly developed Premier Broker Wholesale Site along with Wells Fargo Training Academy projects.
Trained mortgage processing software system (a $40M project), and online resources to wholesale branch employees nationwide.
Project manager for the implementation and training of TAB/FileTracker and TAB label making software system for 2 wholesale facilities.
Tutored site employees in MS Access and MS Excel.
Facilitated classes in the site and branches on subjects ranging from OJT to customer service, computer basics, new employee orientation and mortgage software.
Designed, trained and implemented MS Access databases, one to track employees, security cards, network id’s, asset information, employee training, and capacity and incentive reporting, and another to track loan decisions and provide accurate reporting.

Mortgage Service America
- Project manager, designer, implementation manager, maintenance and training of a mortgage front end system in MS Access for a start up mortgage company.
Designed and implemented beta system within the first 6 months of operation. Functionality included loan registration, secondary marketing operations, operations/processing, underwriting, closing, reporting capabilities, and interfaces with outside systems.
The software I developed remains to this day, and I returned to support it at Baytree Lending some years later.
