CollapseResponsibilities

I opened and managed a child development business, Wonders4Kids, Inc... We are dedicated to the welfare and educational advancement of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Wonders4Kids is licensed to serve 77 children per day. This business grossed over $200,000 in 2006. My duties include the daily safety and welfare of all the children at the facility, hiring-training-supervising employees, handling accounts payable and receivable, maintaining compliance with state requirements, developing and maintaining customers, handling customer records, handling collections, maintaining the building & grounds, and developing personnel and operational procedures. I also worked to develop the school’s curriculum. While with Trident Company, in the metals industry, I helped manufacturers locate specific materials for the parts they produced. I helped my customers determine job costs. I assisted in solving problems associated with delivery and manufacturing. My customers made parts for everything from faucets to the space shuttle. I called on Lockheed and Raytheon in Camden, Arkansas, and Aerostructures in Nashville, Tennessee. I called on Honeywell in Richardson, Texas and Motorola in Fort Worth, Texas. I called on over 200 accounts that did work for Lockheed, Raytheon, Halliburton, Schumberger, as well as other large manufacturers.
