Daily Duties at The New York Times Company:
Design and code websites for the 15 regional newspapers and affiliated sites as well as define coding and development best practices. Lead quarterly training classes for online directors and producers. Website design using CSS, Photoshop, Storymaker, HTML and Publicus. Management duties for 2 online producers including writing goals and conducting reviews as well as resource management and project forecasting. Faculty member for the 2007 New York Times Student Journalism Institute; responsibilities included website redesign and recoding, teaching the students how to post stories to the website, video-editing and effective Storymaker/Brightcove usage.
