Daily Duties at Xtreme Power:
My responsibilities while at Xtreme Power included:
I was responsible for all Customers Solar / Wind Farm communications between farm, Xtreme Powers Network Operations Center (NOC) and Customers NOC.
I was responsible for designing all farm Network Communications, sizing of Servers, Disk Arrays and Backup systems that were needed.
I was responsible for the Standardization of all network equipment, servers, and configurations used at local farms. Including determining and testing which manufactures were going to best suit our needs and the negotiations with manufactures to get volume discounts to leverage Xtreme Power’s and Customer’s funding.
I was also responsible for all communications between the Engineering Department and the IT department for the correct sizing of the infrastructure at the farm.
